Kloofvale Fruit 023 316 482

Fruit, grown for the world's table.

Kloofvale Fruit packs cherries, stone fruit, apples and pears in the Ceres valley and ships them to buyers in Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Asia.

What we export

Stone and pome fruit, from the cultivars buyers already trust to the new ones worth a trial.

Stone fruit

Cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums and pluots, picked when the fruit says so.

Pome fruit

Crisp pears and apples, grown across the Western Cape's finest cool-climate regions.

New-generation cultivars

Designer varieties from leading breeding programmes, alongside proven traditional favourites.

Grower partnerships

Growers who have packed with us for years, and breeders who let us trial what comes next.

From orchard to overseas

One connected chain, from the grower's block to the buyer's shelf. Four stages, each signed off before the next begins.

Talk to us
  1. Grower selection & harvest

Farms and packhouses are chosen for quality, sustainability and reliability. Fruit is handpicked at optimal maturity for flavour and shelf life.

  2. Packing & quality assurance

Graded and packed to each buyer's specification, with a sample from every pallet checked before it leaves the packhouse.

  3. Cold chain & shipping

Temperature is managed from packhouse to port, then consolidated and shipped to markets across the globe without breaking the chain.

  4. Market delivery

Landed with retail and wholesale buyers in season and on spec, with one of our people tracking it until it is signed for.

Why buyers choose Kloofvale Fruit

A specialist exporter, not a broker. We work directly with growers and packhouses across the Western Cape.

Dark plums in a packing crate

Protected all the way to the shelf

Every carton is graded and packed to specification, then checked against strict protocols before it ships.

How we protect condition

Graded and packed to spec

Checked against strict protocols before a single carton leaves the packhouse.

Cold chain integrity

Temperature is managed from packhouse to port, so fruit arrives in condition and full of flavour.

Standards and traceability

Every carton carries a code that leads back to the farm, the block and the packing day.

South African export fruit is audited against SIZA for ethical labour practice and GLOBALG.A.P. for good agricultural practice, and inspected by the PPECB before it ships.

How do I request varietal lists?

Email info@kloofvale.edwebmedia.com or use our contact form and tell us which fruit you are interested in. We will send the current cultivar list and availability window.

    Which varieties do you export?

Cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, pluots, apples and pears. Some are cultivars buyers have known for decades, some are new.

Are you compliant with international standards?

Yes. Our growers are audited for ethical labour and good farming practice, and every consignment is inspected before it ships. We send the certificates with the first order.

    Where is your fruit grown?

In nine growing areas, from the cold Koue Bokkeveld to the Langkloof. We do not buy in fruit from other countries to stretch the season.

Do you pack the fruit yourselves?

Yes, most of it. Apples, pears and cherries go through our own packhouse in Ceres, and stone fruit is packed by two partner packhouses we audit ourselves.

Do you have a producer portal?

Yes. Registered growers get a login for packout reports, market prices and technical notes for the season.
