Sets the varietal and market strategy for the season, holds the grower and group relationships, and decides which programmes Kloofvale Fruit commits to.
Matches fruit to buyers and markets, negotiates the programme and the price, and holds the account relationship through the season. Also where your enquiry lands first.
Owns the pack specification and the protocol behind it. Handles intake inspection, the quality report behind a consignment, and the accreditation and traceability questions buyers raise.
Books the space, moves fruit from packhouse to depot to vessel, and holds the cold chain and the export documentation to the sailing date.
Prices and invoices the fruit, manages forex exposure on export sales, tracks stock against what has actually shipped, and runs the systems the rest of the team works in.
