Built on call-backs we never got
Sluisbank started in 2014 with one bakkie and a simple bet: if the quote is fixed, the work is certified and the site is left clean, the phone keeps ringing on its own. Twelve years and more than four thousand call-outs later, that is still the whole business plan.
We stayed small on purpose. Every plumber on our books is PIRB-registered, carries the same stocked van and works to the same checklist, so the standard does not depend on who you get. No franchise scripts, no commission-chasing upsells, no stranger subcontractors in your home.
Most of our work now comes from two places: neighbours who watched a job happen over the fence, and body corporates tired of paying twice for the same fix. We would rather keep it that way than be the biggest name on a billboard.
