Who we are

This policy explains what happens to personal information you give us through this website. It is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), the South African law that governs how we may handle your details.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and your message. Company and country are on the form as well, and both are optional.

The form also carries a hidden field that a person never sees or fills in. It exists to catch automated spam. If it arrives filled in, the message is discarded.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the whole purpose. Your details are used to answer you and to carry on that conversation if it continues into a trading relationship.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry.

Where it goes

An enquiry is delivered to us as an email. It is handled by our commercial team and kept for as long as it is useful to the conversation it belongs to. If nothing comes of an enquiry, there is no reason for us to keep it, and it is removed.

This site is hosted by Vercel, and email is carried by our mail provider. Both process the message in order to deliver it. Neither is given your information for their own purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no visitor tracking on any page.

Links to other sites

Our grower portal is run for us by a software supplier, and growers who log in there do so under its own privacy terms. Once you follow a link away from this site you are on someone else's service, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. You may also object to us holding it at all.

Write to info@kloofvale.edwebmedia.com and we will action the request. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes to this policy

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. The version published here is the one that applies.
