What we do

What we install

Solar and battery systems are the bulk of our week. The rest of the electrical work runs alongside it, done by the same team that signs the compliance certificate.

Solar and backup

Sizing first

We measure before we quote, keep the essential loads honest, and leave room to grow the array later.

  • Hybrid inverter installations

Inverter mounted, wired and configured, with an essential-loads board so the circuits that matter carry through an outage and the rest wait for the grid.

    Single and three phase
  • Lithium battery banks

Capacity chosen against your evening usage rather than a package name, mounted with proper ventilation, isolation and labelling.

    Expandable
  • Solar PV arrays

Panels laid out for the roof you have, on mounting rails rated for Helderberg wind, with cable runs kept out of the weather.

    Tile, metal and flat roofs
  • Monitoring and handover

App set up on your phone before we leave, with a plain explanation of what the system will and will not carry.

    Included
  • Service and fault repair

Existing systems inspected, settings corrected and failing components replaced, including installations we did not put in.

    Any installer
Every job, same scope

What is included

The same scope every time, so our quotes can be compared honestly against anyone else's.

  • On-site load assessment and a written system design before any money changes hands.

  • Equipment listed by make and model on the quote, never as a generic bundle.

  • Essential-loads board, surge protection, isolation and labelled circuits.

  • Certificate of Compliance covering the installation, issued on completion.

  • Workmanship warranty in writing, alongside the manufacturer warranties.

The rest of the trade

General electrical work

The ordinary jobs, done to the same standard as the big installs.

  • Distribution board upgrades

Old boards replaced, circuits split so one fault stops tripping the whole house, earth leakage tested and every breaker labelled.

    Homes and complexes
  • Rewiring and new circuits

Full or partial rewires, dedicated circuits for pools, ovens, geysers and workshops, and cabling for extensions and flatlets.

    Renovations
  • Fault finding

Tripping breakers, dead plugs and intermittent faults traced to the cause and fixed, with the reason explained rather than guessed at.

    Callouts
  • Lighting and power points

Indoor and outdoor lighting, plug points, geyser timers, gate and garage motor supply, and stove connections.

    Domestic
  • Small commercial work

Shops, offices and workshops: three-phase supply, changeover panels, maintenance visits and shopfitting electrics.

Certificates of compliance

Certificates of Compliance

Selling, transferring or insuring a property means the wiring has to be tested and certified. We inspect, list what needs attention and quote before doing any repair work.

When do I need one?
A valid certificate is required when a property changes hands, and insurers commonly ask for one after an electrical claim. Certificates also need replacing after work that alters the installation.
What if it fails?
You get a written list of what failed and why, with a quote for the repairs. You are free to have that work done by anyone. We only issue the certificate once the installation passes.
Do you certify solar?
Yes. Every installation we complete is certified, and we can inspect and certify systems installed by others once any defects have been corrected.
How long does it take?
A standard house is usually a morning's work, depending on the size of the installation and how accessible the board and circuits are.
