Within one business day, usually the same morning. If your job is not one for us, this is where we say so and point you at someone better suited.

A free site visit at a time that suits you. We measure, photograph, and ask the questions that change the price, rather than guessing at them later.

You get a written quote
Itemised into materials, labour and preliminaries, with a programme attached. Valid 30 days. No obligation and no follow-up pestering.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. The site visit and the written quote are free, whether or not you go ahead. We only charge for measured work once a quote is accepted.
How soon could you start?
Small work usually within three to four weeks. A new build depends on plan approval, which is the longer pole. We give you a real date at quote stage rather than an optimistic one.
Do you work outside these areas?
Sometimes, for larger projects. Send your address and we will tell you honestly whether travel makes the job worse value for you.
I already have a contractor who stopped. Can you take over?
Yes, and we do it regularly. We survey what is built, document its condition before touching anything, and quote only the remaining work. Protecting your position matters more than starting quickly.
